My cat gorges himself at feeding time then Pukes all over my house.
Sometimes a hair ball comes out but not always.
I give him hairball remidy but this does not help.
It's almost like he has beleima or something.

Much less food (only a couple of tablespoons) and lay off the dry stuff.
Feed him every 2-3 hrs.
Introduce him to PETROMALT everyday. LOTS fresh drinking water.

Can't feed him wet food, he Farts and as far as feeding him too much
i give the two cats just enough but lucky will eat all of Hemi's food too
if she does not eat it right away. I can't not feed them. they need to eat
while i'm at work. I think It's his way of Coughing up a furball.
he never does that unless he pukes it up with his food.

Pussy Farts.  Ok, let's not go there.

I saw one of those wind up food timers, I think it was at Petco.  Two food
bowls with a cover that slid away on a timer.  Need to meter the food while
you're gone.

I also have a cat who can't tolerate dry food -- he would immediately
throw up the undigested kibbles.
Did you try premium canned food? Could be the *type* of wet food gave
him gas, and another brand might not.

Hummm...Peewee just started doing this in the last 6 mos or so.  He
will barf up anything except Nutro "complete care" adult maintenance.
He used to be on regular Nutro Adult until they changed the formula and
he started barfing that.  I switched him to Purina One "sensitive
system" and he eventually started barfing that.  I really think it is a
food allergy - he also recently started barfing his canned whitefish,
which he has eaten for years.  He will keep the new Nutro dry food
down, and any other flavors of canned, so I'm just avoiding the
offenders.  Took me forever to figure it out, though.  The good thing
is, he doesn't eat as much of the new Nutro as he used to, so is eating
more canned and is looking better lately.  He's 14 now, so he's getting
up there and it shows a bit.

I don't know what it is with Yoda. It started back when he got HL
secondary from a weird reaction to vaccinations. Almost immediatelya
fter we got home from the vet's, he puked, puked, puked. AFter he got
over the HL, he could never tolerate dry food again. He urks it back
up, completely undigested, almost immediately. Any kind. But no prob.
with wet food. He's about the same age as PeeWee.
It's hard because dry food is the only thing Boots will eat well. She
only picks at the canned. Yoda still *likes* dry food, so it's hard to
keep him out of her food.

I cursed myself.  Last night he puked the Nutro. :/

My Mom's cat did this for years - after he turned about 12.  They could
never find anything wrong with him until he was in late-stage CRF at
about 17.  I just don't know what else to think.

The vet doesn't seem to think it's anything to worry about, and kind of
blows me off. Kind of like "My cat yaks when he eats dry food," "Well,
okay, then don't give him dry food." End of discussion.
But then, he's been like that for five years or so now. Won't PeeWee
eat any kind of canned food at all?

Yah, he does - but mainly just licks the gravy off. He really likes
Purina Diabetic Diet, though.   I discovered tonight that he has been
eating Fir needles that Tessa and I bring in on our feet.  That's part
of his puking problem, I'm certain.  Fir needles here are unbearable so
there isn't much I can do but try to keep the tracking to a minimum,
and sweep as much as I can.  I wish the little stinker would just stay
out of trouble, ya know?
