Silly question

Why does my 4 m/o "announce it" when he has to use the litter box?

He'll wander a bit, trill, trill, trill.......  then head for the box
and start scratching.

He trills fairly frequently, actually.  Not *just* for litterbox
needs.

After litterbox, he wanders around here and there, trilling trilling
trilling.

If I chirp back, he might come up to greet me and then wander on...
trilling trilling trilling...

Even with all that trilling, he *ALWAYS* trills when he has to go
potty.

What does it all mean?

I probably should have named him Trible (sp) instead of Taz.

If laughter is the best medicine,
then kittens should be covered by our health insurance.  :-)

Territoriality. At least it's just trilling. Hodge *yowls* loud enough
to be heard in five states.

Probably a carryover from when his Mommie cleaned his bottom -- now he
wants you to take care of his pan!
When my Siameae adopted me (about 2 years old) she always came and
"told" me when she had used the pan.  When I scooped it, she was
satisfied.  After all, that is what Mommies do!

My present cat (TuTu) will come and inspect the job after I have
scooped -- to make sure (?) I did the job right.  Smart cats!
