My new siamese kitten and all she does is run around the house and attack
my ankles and feet. As well as when Iam in bed she'll slowly creep up onto
the bed and pounce on me and attack any part of my body that is not under
the covers.. What should i do?
Thanks for listening.. Lauren

That's kitten behaviour. She will grow out of it....eventually. I suggest
really trying to keep a schedule. Play a good amount before bedtime with a
wand toy and try to tire her out a bit. Wear thick socks. Try to redirect
the play elsewhere whenever you can.

you might want to get another kitten to play with her and keep her
company too. This could save your feet or you may end up with two
kitties getting you....but thats a kitten for you.

I don't have a Siamese, but rather a Ragdoll that never attacks
anything. ;)

I don't have a Siamese, but read the nickname of my pussycat on her
web site. :)
Good luck.

It's a baby hunter/carnivore. What did you think it was going to do?

Nice, how you refer to the kitten as an "it".

Something involving a nightstick, perhaps?
By the way, I can't believe you're still on Usenet. I thought we alt.angsters spanked
you away back in 1995 when you posted your alleged IQ. Your Wikipedia article says
your breasts are natural, at least.

Hi Lauren--your kitty is a Siamese. She's going to grab your attention
any way she can. That's what they do. :-)
Ever thought about getting a second kitty? Honest. Two kittens are no
more trouble than one--just twice the vet care costs--but it's such a
hoot to watch kittens play with each other. And they'll leave you with
more peace, too.

Another "it" reference. Nice going.

My Birman was like this, as a kitten, he wore me out every morning, he
bit my ankles, he got into the microwave, the washing machine, any
cupboard that was open. He never stopped. I played with him till
lunchtime, then stuffed him full of sardines. By lunchtime, my husband
would come home from his night shift and find me nearly asleep on the
couch, still dangling a piece of string to the floor, while the kitten
slept peacefully, tired out and full of fish. He couldnt understand
what I was complaining about. My kitten is now 17 and although not so
agile as he was, he still looks for mischief, the whole time he is
awake.
