Flo Control - Someone's inventive way of keeping "gifts" out of the house

I just found this interesting page about how a guy rigged his computer
and cat door to prevent anything other than "Flo," and ONLY Flo from
coming into the house, including any gifts she may be bearing.

That is a great use of technology. Of course, the captured critter is
still going to die if not dead already. I wonder how well it works on
other cats? Probably not discriminating enough to keep out other cats
because the "feature" is the same.

It still uses the collar sensor, if I recall, but the that isn't
activated until the computer determines she can come in.
