Third cat in the house. Indoor outdoor cats. The third cat will chase
the others until the only option is to wait by the door to be let out.
Sometimes the other two don't even get time to eat. The third cat has
been in the house about five months now. They are all neutered
males. They don't actually fight but they run from the third cat. It's
like the third cat decides who can be in the house. My wife and I are
worried that the other two are being driven out by this third cat and
one day might not return. What is a Feliway diffuser? Any ideas would
be appreciated.

Feliway is a synthetic hormone that helps calm cats and really can help them
get along better. No fighting is good. You might consider periods of time
where cat 3 is contained so the other two can relax more. Definitely try
separating them at meal time so that the other two are not stressed about
food. Establish a routine (cats like routine.). Did you do a slow
introduction with cat 3? You may want to "restart" that procedure, keeping
him separate and bringing them together for longer and longer periods.
Return 2 to his room whenever agression of any kind starts so that he knows
that is not tolerated. It sounds like you could work this out.
