I tried the spray before. I cleaned the areas Patchy sprayed then sprayed on
Feliway. He kept respraying. I went out and got the diffuser. I plugged it in
with an extension cord so it was exactly where he would spray the side of my
desk. No spraying in five days! I've even had the door open. Right above the
diffuser I see some of the stuff misted on the side of my desk.

I also realized that Patchy is spraying exactly where Mimi likes to hang out,
namely the cat tree next to my desk, the back of the couch (she sits on the
couch), the cat scratchy tree and my nightstand (Mimi sleeps on the
nightstand). Patchy also sprays next to my shoes and my husbands. I guess he's
like "you're leaving your scent so I guess I should leave mine."

So far everything hasn't been sprayed but I worry that the couch is five rooms
away from the desk. Maybe I'll use the spray stuff on the other places. These
things are expensive to be buying more but it's definitely cheaper than the
couch. Patchy mainly sits near my desk, near the couch and near the bed. He
doesn't hate Mimi. They get along okay, play a tiny bit, can eat next to each
other, Mimi sticks her butt in his face, rubs her body on him and he doesn't
hit her. I guess he's just an expressive guy. Thanks for the suggestion.
