Hello,

my friend's cat had big nodes. Her local vet took them away and sent
them for analyze. They think it is "GIANT CELL TUMOR OF SOFT PARTS".
After less than a month, the nodes are back, quite small but slowly
growing and spreading. The vet is a bit confused and doesn't really
know what to do about it.
Help!  The cat is only 6 years old.
What is this? Is there a treatment? Any tip?

Thank you for any help or information!

Stef--my first thought is that your friend needs to get a
second opinion--or just a new vet. I certainly would if the vet
I had seemed "confused" and  like he "doesn't really know what
to do about it." Also, please try posting this at alt.med.veterinary
where some vets hang out. They have been really helpful to me
in the past. Good luck, poor kitty. :(
