Hi! She sounds like she has allergies of some sort, and depending
on where you are, this may be the prime time for them--due to
spring pollen.

There are different types of allergies and a syndrome related
to allergies called EGC-- or eosinophilic granuloma complex
that my cat suffers from that cause bumps and scabs on her
skin at times. The good news is, these things are treatable

You do need to take your baby to the vet. Your mileage may
vary, but a Depo Medrol shot every few months is all my
cat needs--it costs maybe $25 and gives her relief from
the EGC and asthma. But there are many treatments,
there are also pills that might help.

Good luck and keep us posted!

You know something, Mary.  All the people here who are so concerned about
helping cats and want to talk about *nothing* else (except of course
carrying torches and calling for your blood) have not yet, even after almost
5 hours, responded to this request for help for a sick cat.  I guess
everyone has been too distracted at having another monster (GROWL!!!) to
chase out of the village to bother.

Thankfully, you post prolifically enough to have covered this matter.

Thank you, sweetie.

I'll say it again, you may have a potty mouth ;> but you have a very good
heart.

Hugs,

Catnipped,
Before you criticise  people for not responding with in 5 hours , has
it occurred to you that not everybody can read  RPCHB 24/7 and that
there are time differences.
That post for people in the UK  was sent at 23.24 so it wouldn't  get
a great response  from Uk'ers and also Mary answered it perfectly
adequately and there's not much anyone else could add.

Unfortunately, you should do what all the other people would that post here,
if their cat had scabs, missing fur and sneezing for the past week:

TAKE HER TO THE VET!!!!!!

Sneezing could be a cold, but it could also be something in her sinuses.

Losing fur & scabs are probably connected:  could be an allergy, to any
number of things:  food, fleas, carpet shampoo.....

Only your vet would be able to diagnose your cat, so if you "luv her" as
much as you say, take her to the vet.

In what area are the scabs and missing fur appearing?

Your kitty really needs to see a vet. There are a lot of skin
disorders, and only a vet can accurately diagnose. Besides skin
allergies (which is probably the common one)...cats can have ringworm,
or even mange (scabies). (Fortunately, that one isn't very common). I
had a cat once with a bald spot/scaly scab, and it turned out to be a
simple bacterial infection. The sneezing can be upper respiratory,
which is also easily treated. I can't think of anything where bald
patches/sneezing is *related*, but maybe someone else here knows.
Good luck. Hope you can get her in to see a vet soon.
