I have sleep apnea so I have a breathing machine with a humidifier. A couple
of months ago I opened a new gallon of distilled water and gave 'Inky' the
little blue seal ring. He took off with it and had a dandy time playing
soccer.
Now, every night as I refil the humidifer he is waiting. Tonight I brought
in a new bottle and he was beside himself. Meowing as soon as he saw it,
standing up on his hind legs, and almost grabbing it out of my hand.
A few minutes later, while taking my shower I saw a black paw reach under
the bathroom door, trying to reach his soccer puck that he had scored a goal
with. Then his sister, 'Patches' tried to reach it.

There is probably almost no toy better than a jug ring!

funny that you should mention those rings. One of my cats, Maliboo,
loves them. They are his major toy.
We live in an area that has lots of chemicals in our water so the vet
suggested that we use distilled water only for their drinking needs.
thus, we have lots of those little rings. We put them in a ceramic
bathroom trash can. Maliboo loves to fish them out and then goes wild.
Usually once a day I round them up, put them back, and the fun starts
all over again. He will play for hours. I'm delighted to hear that
other cats have so much fun with them, too.
