Hi,
I'm trying to get as much info as I can for all of my kitties,
including the three HCM kitties.
I did a quick search on Amazon and found three books:
1. The Cornell Book of Cats by Mordecai Siegel ISBN 0679449531
2. Veterinarians Guide to your cats symptoms by Michael Garvey ISBN
0375752277
3. Cat Owner's Home Veterinary Handbook by Delbert G Carlson ISBN
0876057962
I don't yet know if any of these will be available through my local
Aussie booksellers, but my question is: can anyone recommend a good
medical cat book? Not one which covers breeds and skims illness and
disease, but one with minimal or no breed info and lots of illness
info. Are any of the above three any good? Is there another book I
should be seeking? It doesn't have to cover just HCM, but some
coverage of feline heart disease would be good.
Thankyou!
Catherine

I recently purchased this book and I'm quite happy with it. It's target
audience is veterinarians though so the liberal use of medical language may
make it difficult to read by lay people.

Cornell Book of Cats is available in Australia.
Cornell is one of main veterinary schools in US.
The book is written by their faculty and staff.
