I need help!!! I have four cats, they are 2 females, 2 males. The
girls are 17 & 11, (no problems they are spayed) the males are 12 and 7
(they are neutered). They have been all raised together. We moved in
our new house in 1998, since about 2002 the males have been spraying,
why they started I don't know. I have tried everything, even the old
home made remedies, like vodka, I can't get them to stop. This may
sound cruel, but when one of the males pass will this stop, I have not
taken them to the vet for this. The young one who is now 7 is a very
agressive male. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, taking htem to the vet is always the first order. Now that it has been
going on this long, you may have created a habit by not getting to the root
of the problem first. You should #1 get vet checked 2)clean thoroughly (use
a blacklight to find the spots) any areas sprayed with an enzymatic cleaner
(like but not exclusively Nature's Miracle)3) purchase Feliway diffusers for
your home and perhaps spray for the areas affected.
