Has anyone else's cat had an adverse reaction to Vaseline?

Kiki vomited and the vomit had a small amount of what looked like
blood in it today, after the Vaseline I gave her yesterday.

When I got the new jar of Vaseline home, I cleaned the package
thoroughly before opening it. After inspecting the open container,
before dipping my finger into it, I cleaned my finger.

I suspect it was the Vaseline out of more than just coincidence,
yesterday she was enthusiastic about it and today she is
uninterested.

I realize that if it was the Vaseline, the Vaseline might have
aggravated a pre-existing condition (something else might be wrong).

I'm not blaming anyone else, I did some research about the Vaseline
first, and my cat is 100% my responsibility. I'm not even asking for
comment or advice. I'm just documenting this because (in my opinion)
it might help someone else down the road. I will post an update
later.

Maybe it wasn't the Vaseline, I suspect maybe an ulcer. Besides
throwing up regularly, Kiki has been acting very nervous lately.
Kitty (a male stray introduced over a year ago) is probably part
of the reason. Kiki might be getting too old to put up a fight. I
put a bell on Kitty and clipped his claws, and immediately changed
Kiki's environment to nonstressful, for the foreseeable future.
She responded outwardly almost immediately. The blood appears to
be gone under very close inspection of her vomit. Her feces look
healthy. Will continue checking.
