I just move to Mississauga, Ont. Can anybody recommend a good veterinarian
in Mississauga or Etobicoke for my elderly cat?

I have a friend in Mississauga. I'll ask him. Watch this space for an
answer sometime in the next week.

There's a really good vet clinic on the Kingsway in Etobicoke, not too far
from Mississauga, one of the cats where I used to work goes there, I think
its called Kingsway Vetinary Clinic. If interested I can get you their
phone number.
Trish
I take my cats to a clinic in downtown Toronto, that might be too far for
you.

If you don't have any direct cat-vet recommendations, I have a list of
recommended rabbit vets from a rabbit org up there. We have both cats
and rabbits, and found our wonderful cat-vet through a bunny list. You
might call some of these or interview them, but with ours I've found
that she was caring and competent with rabbits, and she is the same with
cats.
Here they are from this site:

This is what my friend said. You can trust this referral.
Dr. Robert Reid, Mississauga Veterinary Hospital and the emergency
clinic. 905-270-4784 for the clinic,
He does house calls for $75, any treatment or number of cats. Best Vet
in Mississauga his associates say, one of which is Dr. Ron Johnson,
who treated my cat Crystal when she was dying in 1994. Highly
recommended!
