I am new to this group and this question may have been posted and
answered before. But our ten year old cat, Mr. Charlie, sometimes keeps
on "meowing" even after he has new cat food, a clean litter box, and
fresh water, and also gets a chance to go outside (We are on the third
floor, but he still can do his daily morning shift of
snooping/block-watch stuff from our balcony. Does anyone else have or
has had a cat like Mr. Charlie?! I would never hit, spank or scare him.
Usually, if the little guy keeps on with his "meows", I check again to
see if he needs anything..but..WHEW!! TIA!!, I'm glad that I found this

He's just singing.
Don't you sing or whistle sometimes?  ;)

My Jeffrey loves to hear himself sing for no particular reason.

(I assume he's been checked by a vet to rule out health problems)

Hey, if you got it flaunt it! If you don't, stare at
someone who does. Just don't lick the TV screen, it leaves
streaks.

It sounds "Siamese" -- great talkers.  They love to tell you their
thoughts and dreams.  Do you talk back to him?  If not, do so -- you will
get a great conversation.  MLB

This made me think of Isis. Not a Siamese (Through some people thought
she looked as if there might be some Siamese in her less than
illustrious pedigree- I think you all know the sort, mum was black
with a white locket, dad was probably a large ginger tom that she was
sweet on) but the most vocal cat I've ever met. We used to talk for
hours at a time. If no-one was talking to her, she would even talk to
herself!

He's an orange tabby.
I actually was the one who got him talking to begin with.
He came from a cat collector and was very quiet when he came to me. He talks
like a pro now.  :)

We have whole conversations. *heh*
All my cats are big talkers, really, but only Jeffrey talks to himself. *LOL*
