Kind of gross, but for those of you who are interested in veterinary
medicine you might want to have a look.  Pictures of Bandit's boo-boo (sorry
baby, Mommy's not kissing this one!):

It actually looks really good compared to how the gangrenous burn looked.
There's still a spot on the left that is still blistered, you can see than
on the last two photos on the page - but picture that 2 1/2  inches wide and
4 inches long and you can imagine why this is *SO* much better.

Poor baby. Looks like the vet did a good job, though. Purrs for a speedy
recovery.

What a striking kitty! Those eyes are gorgeous! Looks like the wound is well
on the way to healing. Poor baby with that collar on though!

Yeah, only kitty I've ever seen with those color eyes - they're a deep
emerald.  You can see them best here:
http://www.possibleplaces.com/CatNipped/Bandit3/.

He wound is looking really good - I'm fixin' to take some more pictures
today.  It's drying up well, no weeping or drainage, no redness or swelling.
The vet did a good job of fixing her mistake (or rather the vet tech's
mistake).  BTW, the vet techs there have been calling *every day* to check
on Bandit, and have been bending over backwards to be nice.  I have a
feeling the techs at that clinic got their bottoms chewed really good for
this particular mistake!

Gorgeous!  My Pookie (RB) had eyes like that - he was deep black with
green eyes - stunning!
