I've had word from Bandit's vet that she came through the surgery just fine.
The necrotic tissue did not even go all the way through the skin, the
subcutaneous lay of skin was unaffected and there was good vascular flow
through the area. She was able to remove it all except for one tiny spot to
the side that she thought would be better treated separately than trying to
include it in the tissue removal. Bandit is awake and responding in her
usual fashion - growling and hissing at everyone who walks by! ;> I can go
and pick her up at 3:00PM today.
The vet even had good news about something else - they tested Bandit's BUN
(since that was a bit elevated two weeks ago) and even that is back into the
normal range! Purrs really, really *DO* work! Bless you!

I am *SO* happy to hear this about Bandit! Sounds like she is a real
character with all that growling and hissing. She likely isn't pleased with
them at the moment :)
