One of my two neutered male cats was recently diagnosed with a urinary
tract blockage. So my vet prescribed "Urinary SO 30" by Royal Canin.
Its kind of pricey. Up to now my cats have enjoyed a diet of purina
cat chow, supplemented occasionally with treats.
Can anyone recommend a comparable, good value (i.e. cheap) food
available for order on-line or otherwise widely available? Also, what
treats can I give them that will comply with doctor's orders?

Here's the list I have come up with thus far:
Possible Foods:
Abady Alternatives
Eukanuba low pH/s?
Hill's s/d, c/d
IVD Prescription Food
Medi-cal Preventative Formula
Purina UR
Science Diet Light
Waltham Feline Urinary SO 30
Wellness canned
Wysong Uretic Formula
I suspect the Purina would be the cheapest, but that is dry food,
which is not the best thing to feed your cat(s).
