Cat Forum / Health and Behavior / March 2005I will miss Felix RIP 2/28/5
This morning I went out side and found my cat Felix had been hit by a car. He was by best bud, I nursed him since he was a 10 day old kitten. He slept with me every night and always wanted to be in my lap while doing my daily routine. The weird thing is "someone" removed his ID tube from his collar. I just hope they do the right thing and return it. Felix, I will miss you dearly, I just hope that I can see you again when I pass on. I just lost my buddy to lymphoma Thursday and it is just a big empty hole. I so understand. You may get a call from someone informing you that your cat has been hit. It will certainly take me a while to get over the fact that he's gone, the house seems so empty without him. I reported earlier that his ID tube was missing, but I went back out to the street and found it about 10 feet from where I found Felix laying. I looked for the wire ring that was holding his ID tube onto his collar, but couldn't find it, I still find that odd. My other cat Pig sniffed Felix when I brought him into the house, I wanted to give her a chance to say goodbye. After petting him and saying goodbye one last time I buried him under one of his scratching trees in the back yard. I have since then collected every picture I had of him and made a CD scrapbook. Craig, many people here know how much it hurts to lose a good feline friend. Hope your heart heals soon. Our pets are NOT EVER "just a cat/dog"....they're my babies!!!! Much sympathy to you.
