Hi, we have six cats (all neutered except youngest), ages 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,
and about 4mo. old, the 3 and 4 yr olds are female the rest are male, and
we are having some problems with the oldest. I believe it started about a
year ago about the time we got the one year old. Before that, all of the
cats got along fine, but now the oldest, Bandit, frequently chases and get
into fights with the 2 year old male and 4 year old female. I have no clue
why he does not get along with the female, but I believe jealousy has a big
part to do with the problems he has with the 2 yr old male, Eeyore. Before
getting the 1 yr old, Bandit and Eeyore seemed like best of friends,
frequently playing together. Once the new kitten arrived, Eeyore started to
spend most of his time with it, no longer playing with Bandit.
Now when Bandit walks into the same room with either Eeyore or Toesie ( 4 yr
female ) and he looks at either of them, Eeyore or Toesie immediatelly start
growling. This is soon followed by Bandit chasing the other till he or she
gets cornered and attacked.
I am hoping that someone can suggest something we could do to try and
restore peace among the cats in our house. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Martins

Try Feliway. It has helped in other multiple cat households. I would also
try extra attention to Bandit. Lavish him. Perhaps it will help.

How would I use Feliway? I believe it is for cat spraying problems, which
is not the case here.
