Can we please behave like humans our cats wouldn't be ashamed to be
associated with?

Thank you.

Your wise request truly gave me pause. So I checked with both cats and
as it turns out, they are tremendously proud of me for being honest,
forthright, and direct, not to mention an avid opponent of declawing,
breeding, and allowing cats to roam where they might get hurt.

In addition, Buddha feels that my anti-censorship
stance is right on. Cheeks, on the other hand, thinks my language is a
bit strong at times. But then, she has always been a pussy. 8)

Mary,

Why are you using both "Mary" and MaryS" when signing in?  It is less
confusing if we stick to a single designation.

I thought MaryS would be like your MaryL, and let people know that it was
me, Mary Smith posting. I just changed it back. Your wish is my command.

Thanks.  Actually, though, I wasn't requesting that you change it back --
just that you select one and stick with it.  There are so many of us
("Mary's," that is) that it is much easier to follow long threads if the
same name is used each time.  MaryS does have the advantage of
differentiating you from a group of other Marys (and is also the reason I
use MaryL).

Perhaps the humans are picking up bad habits from their badly behavior
felines?

You know... things like...

-"Forgetting" to flush the toilet.
-Staying up and perhaps out all night.
-Going into an excitement frenzie.
-Climbing the walls... literally.
-Sleeping all day after a busy night out.

etc...

  :)
