had posted abt this awhile back
finally I can work on Sam cat getting used to a harness, poor thing she was an
outdoor cat for most of her life, newer housing/renting regualtions won't allow
it without being on a leash

I've looked locally, live in a small town..a wal-mart and one pet store
wal-mart had none, pet store one looked impossible to use

internet oder...
anyone know of best types? easiest to use. most comfortable for Sam, best sites
to buy from

dont ask for much  )

This is the one I got:
http://www.hdw-inc.com/walkingjackets.htm

I can't see how a cat could get out of it given its design.  One of my
cats doesn't like it but I haven't worked much with him getting him
used to it yet; the other does just fine with it on but only wants to
sit outside and chew grass so he can go in his outdoor enclosure for
that.

This is the one I just got. My guy hasn't gotten used to it yet, but I'm
somewhat optimistic. It seems well made and the handle is a good idea.

I ordered one from that website and they never sent it.  I had to call my
credit card company after 3 months because the owner of company kept
changing the so called date that she mailed it out.  Eventually she admitted
to not sending it out.. So I would be extremely leery of ordering through
them...

Some cat owners really like these cat walking jackets.  Go to:
 www.hdw-inc.com/walkingjackets.htm

They give better support than a halter but I would also slip them through
the collar in case the cat tries to slip out.
