Well, I wake at around 6a.m. with a noise like Weeeeeowwweeeeee in my ears. My
vision is impaired by an enormous furry black and white area in the centre of my
field of view, and a sort of compression of the chest at three or four different
points. Trying to clear these phenomena away sometimes results in sharp stabbing
pains in the hands and arms.
What can this be?

Lol Jim,
I seem to be afflicted with the same thing except I woke up at 7 a.m
this morning with a low rumble in my ear and a large white lump seems
to be affecting my vision. What ever this thing is seems to not be very
happy about being moved.
I really hope this is not contagious.
Anyone else experiencing this.

For somereason I found myself falling out of bed, it seemd something
was causing me not to have room in the king size bed and too sleepy to
open my eyes I felt around and a pile of fur attached to my side that
was forcing me closer and closer to the beds edge. I don't know how
this happened when I went to bed I had no hair there.

I used to fall out of my twin size bed I was younger. I mved up to a
queen size water bed. I sleep on the very edge, often squished up
against the side. I actually like it that way, but I'm greatful it's
damn near impossible to fall out of a hard sided waterbed. And teh
rest of the bed is for the animals. Plenty of room for them. If I ever
get married though, I will have to get a king size.

Hello yourself.
My sleep is not restful at all. Around 5 am each morning, a furry body
starts pawing at my hair and eating it. I've tried everything... wearing a
bandana to bed only intensifies the attempts to eat my hair. If I hide under
the covers, another smaller yet equally determined creature pounces on my
head and starts digging me out.
This is all accompanied by the sounds mentioned by other posters. Could
these problems be related in any way? If so, please send $500 in large bills
to my home address.

My sleep is not restful because once 3 furry bodies are in place, in a
rather triangular placing (somehow, me thinks, related to late night
mothership uploading) the 3 furred ones are not inclined to move whatsoever.
So I eventually move to the couch. Which is more comfortable than the bed
anyway. (Really. It is.)

When one sleeps with five dogs and two (usually)
cats, one does not use "restful" and "sleep" in the
same sentence.
