If you belong to AAA, and the medication is one that a regular pharmacy carries you can get some good deals. For us Jewel's Prozac is regularly $15.something/month, with a AAA card it is $5.46. Seamus's Flovent inhaler only went from the $90s to the $80s but it was something. You can check on the website to see what the cost would be. Teri I don't belong to AAA but I also know a bargain when I see it. The Clavamox drops that Icarus has to take for his UTI is $31 through the vet. I got Clavamox for Scarlett after her surgery to drain a nasty infection for $15.63 for 15 mls, and I think that was even overpriced. When Shadow needed maintenance prednisone and metronidazole for IBD, I bought in bulk online because our vet said she couldn't beat their prices. petcarerx.com I think it was. He died soon after a refill of 100 5mg prednisone and 200 metronidazole (can't remember the strength) and I just gave it to the vets office so they could give it to financially challenged clients.
