For the past 2 days, Chablis has been eating about half her food, having a
mostly normal day, a lethargic evening & then she vomits, has gassy
diarreha, & has a mostly normal night.

She's currently on Interferon & Pentamycetin for an upper respratory
infection (Muscat too).  At first I thought it was a reaction from the meds
& she'd improve as the cold went away, not so.

AAAAARRRRGGGGGGGG!!!!! Chablis is 6 months old & allready (aside from shots
& checkups) cost close to $600 at the vet.  She's on insurance now & the
last visit ate up the deductable, so AT LEAST everything from now on will
only cost me 20% of the total.

Gods know, I love the little punk, I want her to be healthy.... & I'd rather
declare bankrupsy than see her suffer....BUT....
GOD DAMN!!!! THIS IS GETTING OLD!!!!!!!!

thanks for letting me vent.... Back to the vet tomorrow.

We'll keep our paws crossed for Chablis and hope she recovers soon.

You say she is currently on the meds but thought she would get better when
the cold went away.  It still could be the meds making her sick.

I have no advice, but feel free to vent =)  There's nothing wrong with
noticing that your cat is lightening your wallet to a considerable degree.

Just remember, they are probably still less expensive than kids and they
don't talk back. Well, not much anyway.

I've been going through the same thing, Mathew, with my 2 new
kittens. They finally seem to be getting past the URIs and eye
gunkiness, but then diarrhea set in with one of them, so treating
that. It's improving so I'm starting to see the light. lol
