For those that have followed my postings since about last June, and since
his operation to remove the almond, I thought I'd kinda update his
condition. He is doing well, very well. I can't remember when I've seen him
look so good and apparently feel so good. He eats like a horse(small horse),
and is of course gaining weight back. His ears are perky and alert and his
eyes are big and bright. His fur is silky and soft and he is really
demanding in the attention dept., so much so that he is getting a little
nippy if you try and ignore him for too long and your arm is close. I think
a lot of it may have to do with what he is being fed now. No dry food at
all, just Nutro Natural Choice(pouch) with a little water added. He likes
it, he eats it, and apparently is doing quite well on it. Not wanting to get
into what to feed your cat, this is just what seems to be working well for
him. Huh? What? Oh. Gotta go, Dufus is telling me he is hungry again. Thanks
for listening.

It's so nice to hear good news about Dufus. I had the worry recently of my
cat having a very poorly spell and not eating. Fortunately she has got over
it and is eating for England. Mind you, she still needs to put a bit of
weight back on.

Since she has bounced back - it's as though she has springs on her paws. I
always thought she was far too ladylike to chase any toys or RUN about.

Obviously I was wrong!

Love dufus's name. I have a cat named McDuffy. He is not  the brightest
bulb in the chandelier. sometimes, I lovingly call him McDoofus.

Excellent news.  My four eat Nutro both Max Cat and Natural Choice, and
they like it a lot.

I'm glad Dufus is doing so well.  He is one gorgeous animal!

This is great!  Also makes me wonder just how long that almond was actually
sitting in there - if perhaps it took a while before causing an acute
problem.  IOW - if he'd possibly ingested it earlier & was causing the
previous appetite probs, before this last major problem.

Yay, Dufus! Sounds to me like you know a lot about cats now,
Paul. I'm really glad it worked out for Dufus.
