We are a happily married and loving 30 and 27 year old husband and wife
living in NW Indiana.  Our dream is to adopt a child, but we have not
been able to due to the incredible and unforseen expenses.

Currently, we have a small savings or as we call it "Adoption Fund" but
we need so much more to even get the process started.  We are realizing
that adoption travel expenses and taking time off work for adoption
related issues would exhaust most of our current "adoption fund".

Please help our dream come true by sending a gift of a $1.00 bill to:

Ben & Catie Rose
PO Box 497
Knox, IN 46534

To prevent theft, please wrap your one dollar bill in a sheet of paper.
Also, any advice, suggestions, stories or tips you would like to share
with us would be greatly appreciated!

We are only at the very beginning of our journey and we THANK YOU SO
MUCH for helping make this dream possible.
Thank you again and God bless you!

I might send you a dollar to adopt a cat.

My suggestion would be to scrimp and save. Don't eat out, pack a lunch, get
a 2nd job, quit smoking (if you do) all things my dh and I had to do when we
needed to come up with the adoption fees for my son.

This has all the makings of fraud. Nobody in their right mind would send a
$1 bill in the mail. Besides you shouldn't adopt a child if you don't have
the money.

If you need money (now) for attorney fees and "adoption" expenses..you are not
ever going to have enough to care for a child. Maybe you can become a foster
parent (getting subsidy from the government) or become a big brother/sister.

Heh. I think the same advice we all give to prospective cat owners also applies
here. If you can't afford to get the cat, or kid in this case,  in the first
place, you can't afford to raise it.

This has all the indications of fraud.  As we've all been reminded about
with the Sunami crisis,  No legitamate person or outfit would ask you to
send cash through the mail.  And it was sent to a group about cat chat?
Come on!
