OK, I gathered the family around and this is what we came up with:
Sebastion - 1 vote
Mischief - 2 votes
As for myself, I don't know, because I like to let my pets tell me their
names. After a while, I realize that the cat/dog/ferret/rat is actually
named -------(insert name here)-----.
But, if you don't like Mischief, I think 'Chief' is a good alternative.
Please let us know.
Thanks,
~Shelly~ and family

That's a fine looking kitten. He looks very stately and powerful, and he is
snazzily-bejeweled with those eyes (though that may be the camera) and
already-long and dignified whiskers. He could command respect because of
his fine-colored mane; it's like he's wearing one of those fur capes that
kings wear; like he's a member of royalty.
Maybe name him for a king?
Nicholas?
Thanks for sharing the photo. :-)

That's one I'd definitely consider. I like the sound. I like the history.

Makes me think of Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish.

Sure. But to me it is a right royal name for a regal looking kitten.
Here is Robert Graves on two sides to every story.
THE PERSIAN VERSION
Robert Graves
Truth-loving Persians do not dwell upon
The trivial skirmish fought near Marathon.
As for the Greek theatrical tradition
Which represents that summer's expedition
Not as a mere reconnaisance in force
By three brigades of foot and one of horse
(Their left flank covered by some obsolete
Light craft detached from the main Persian fleet)
But as a grandiose, ill-starred attempt
To conquer Greece - they treat it with contempt;
And only incidentally refute
Major Greek claims, by stressing what repute
The Persian monarch and the Persian nation
Won by this salutary demonstration:
Despite a strong defence and adverse weather
All arms combined magnificently together.

I was trying to think of something masculine about that brilliantly
pink nose. Any ideas?

Fabulous kitten. When we named our rescue cats, we gave them temporary names
until we'd got to know them.
I think he looks like a Fluffle or Buster

What a cute kitty! I have the hardest time coming up with names for even my
own kitties, so what I'm going to do, is say this page lists lots of sites
with databases for kitty names: http://tinyurl.com/3wrns
Hope this helps,

If historical names are in order & a red nose is a factor (denoting a lush)
how about:
Nero... Roman Emporer & well known drunk.

Yeah... Maxx.
Not all that exciting, but he does look like a Maxx and it was the first
suggestion that nobody here objected to too much.

I keep seeing the name Rascal here. But I would ask the kitten what he wants
to be named.
