I thought that all cats liked catnip and chewies, don't they?. As Chloe our
new acquisition (see earlier recent postings) deserves treats I bought her
both. She won't touch either. Funny puss! She
won't eat her breakfast until I get up or dinner until we have served up and
started eating our
own meal. She won't go near the cat bed we bought her but will perch all
night right on the corner of our bed; insecurity I guess. She won't go to
sleep until we do but always wakes up at 7am for Val to go to work at 8 and
trots unbidden out of the gate to the garage when Val comes home.

As I type this, she is curled up asleep, behind me against the
door to our computer room/library, more faithful than any dog. Took Chloe to
the vet last week and she is fine, with the lost hair growing back, apart
from needing the virus injections
renewed and microchipping - to be done after Christmas.

A tale; I used to be friends with a dog (collie) which apart from
hating fireworks was quite calm until Fraggle Rock came on. Then when I
called out "Fraggles, Blue" she used to go bananas.

A Happy Christmas to all the Group and your furry companions.

Nope; it has no effect on some cats.

My cat Oscar also likes to eat when we do.  She does eat at other times, too,
though.  My dog Puma (RB) also wanted companionship while eating.

Maybe it's just warmer =P  This doesn't seem atypical to me at all.  I bought
a cat tent for Oscar and ended up donating it to the local shelter; she much
preferred our bed, even with the unstable footing of people rolling around
throughout the night!
