Kato, my Lilac and cream calico, has moved on to kitty heaven after 16 good years. I will miss her. She was up and down over the last year and a half but she still had mostly good times. Goodbye old friend. It may be many years before we meet again. A verse from Robert Frost comes to mind: "The woods are lovely, dark and deep But I have promises to keep And miles to go before I sleep. And miles to go before I sleep." I lost my 19 1/2 year old, Blue, on Nov.20th due a massive stroke, and it's been one of the hardest events of my life. I'm still dealing with his loss everyday. I'm sure that you did everything you possibly could to help Kato live a wonderful and high quality life, filled with love, and that's the best life anyone or any animal could wish for. Please don't hesitate to email me if you need to 'talk' it out. I know that I* have, and I've found that and most of the people that post and lurk here are wonderfully compassionate.
