Maybe a couple months ago I bought some wheat grass seed. I went to the
fridge to get some seeds to plant a new batch and noticed that some seeds
has some mold on them. I'm wondering how long you all that grow your own
grass(cat grass), keep the seeds before getting new seeds? Thanks.

Why are you storing wheat grass seeds in the fridge? Opening and closing the
door results in humidity which results in mold.

No, I had posted that once you've grown the wheat grass, putting it in the
fridge at night makes it last longer (put the sprouted wheat grass in the
fridge, NOT the seeds).

I use oat seeds. I bought a 50 pound bag at a feed store several YEARS
ago. I store it in a closet in my finished basement which stays about
60 degrees (F) year round. I keep it in a closed plastic storage
container. I have not had any problems with mold.

Hi Paul,
I use organic Whole Grain Wheat made by Arrowhead Mills which is available at
most health food markets. I keep it in my cupboard and have never had a
problem with it going mouldy, and it lasts for months.
