Posted on 30/11 about fur loss. Have now spoken to the owners who have
agreed to transfer ownership of Chloe to us.They didn't ask for any
payment:-(
Yippee! The best pre-Xmas present for all of us, especially Chloe. She is
going to the vet as soon as we can arrange to have her checked out and as
the problem is impacted anal glands will have this dealt with (Thanks
Alison, you were dead right.). Also full flea, worm and virus injections
plus will have her micro-chipped.
Apparently last weekend the husband whose cat she is went to stroke her and
she took a (succesful) claw swipe at him. Yet with me she just smacks me
with her soft pad, claws in.
As Christmas is a-coming and nobody is allowed to give animals as they end
up abandoned I am giving them ?50 (about $100) to seal the deal. I know that
she is 11y.o. but with care she will last as long as Gideon (see
hyperthyroid thread).
When we had an ex-racehorse, Free Spirit, he lasted to 28 y.o. despite
racing withers injuries so we do know about "shop-soiled" senior citizens.
May post from time to time with news from Chloe, UK.
And to think that I used to say I never wanted a cat:-)))))))).

That's wonderful news! I'm glad that the owners came to their senses and
realized that someone else would take proper care of her ... or maybe they
just got sick of you harping at them. Either way, very good news!
