I adopted a 7 week old kitten from the shelter, she's now about 7 months old
and a cutie.
I've noticed as she's grown her profile is "regal" like a Egyptian looking cat.
She is not a pure breed. Her ears are long and pointed and she's a very dark
grey with some darker grey lines running through her tail. Dark grey nose and
pads and the yellowest eyes I have ever seen on a cat. Her fur is so soft, not
like my other cat. Everytime I see her in profile I can't get over great she
looks.

I'm just curious about her ancestry.

We will need peectures and it is my personal belief that everyone here
should put their kitties up on Catster.com! and then make them friends with
Rosalie!

I've been trying to get a profile photo of Sara but she doesn't cooperate. I'll
have to get someone to hold her for me.

Ha! She keeps looking at you, doesn't she?

She sounds identical to my little kitty who is sick right now...see my
post about "sick after spaying."

But mine is half siames and half burmese.  very very gray with little
dark rings on her tail and the pointy ears.  And very much a talker.
Maybe your's is the same.

How is you kitty doing, better I hope. I do hope you stay with the 2nd Vet, one
thing I've learned is to ask my Vet a million questions, I expect the same
quality care from him for my kitties as I get from my Dr. Over the years I have
taken my pets to various Vets, I would watch how they would inter act with my
babies and if I didn't like what I saw I was out of there. Then last year I
came across my present Vet and what a gem he is. He gets down to the kitties
level and talks to them so gently before he starts a exam, he has such a
soothing voice with them, I'm telling you he spends at least 10 minutes just
talking to them and stroking them before he starts the exam. When my Sara was
due for her spaying he came in on his day off to do the surgery and called me
right after it was done. He told me I could come over anytime to see her if I
wanted. Sara did  good but she was in some pain.  My Vet is so great, he called
me  everyday for 5 days after her surgery to check on her, yes everyday  The
pain meds helped her and I kept her in a BIG dog carrier for the better part of
the recovery time he also told me if I had any concerns to bring her right in,
no phone call just come in. I fed her canned food with a little extra water
mixed in it. By day 7 she was raring to go. This is the same Vet who took care
of our aging dog, sadly we had to "put her to sleep" last May, he was so
wonderful with her, he got down on the floor with us and we all said our
goodbyes to Charlie before he injected her and this Vet was crying his eyes out
, telling Charlie how much he was going to miss her and then he hugged us both
and we all were crying, he gently picked Charlie up and wrapped her in the
blanket we had brought. He came back out with glasses of water for us and told
us we could stay in the room as long as we needed to and even offered to get us
a taxicab if we couldn't drive.  He send us a beautiful handwritten note a few
days later, what a guy. OK enough of that.
Sara does sound like your kitty and yes she is a talker also, her tail is so
long for her size with the dark rings. I'm still trying to get a profile photo
of her. Does you kitty have intense yellow eyes?  Around Sara's muzzle the fur
is a lighter grey, do you have any photos of your kitty on line.
Take care-- you're a good mommy to your kitty.
