I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. Usually when I open the
refrigerator door, Mico sticks his head inside, and I have to push him out.
But four times now, he's gotten the better of me, and wiggled on top of the
last shelf, and gone to the back of the fridge! It's not like my apartment
is overheated or anything. Weird....

Maybe Mico associates the fridge with food?

Cats are very curious creatures (plus the scent of all that food has to entice
them). Unfortunately, sometimes that can hurt or even kill them. My Meesha is
like your cat. She loves sticking her head in the fridge. She jumped up in
there one time and I reprimanded her harshly for it. Now I am extremely
careful when opening the fridge. When I close the door, I'll look around to
make sure Meesha is where she's supposed to be.

When I open the fridge, Sammy wedges himself between the fridge and my feet and
plops down. I guess he likes the cool air.
