It seems that about every other year a cat story like this makes the news. Usually it occurs in some NYC apartment. Not this time though... http://apnews.excite.com/article/20041106/D866412O0.html "Police Chief Paul Lindholm described the smell as unbearable and said the cat feces in the building was several inches deep on the floor. Firefighters Thursday night removed 250 cats from the house, half already dead and the rest so ill they had to be killed." Unbelievable, 250 cats in a flat?
