Sleeping in the sink?

Okay, is my cat weird or what?  Twice I've caught one of them dozing
curled up in the sink.

The really weird thing is that when I went to get her, she was wet...

She doesn't like being wet, she gets mad when a drip of water falls on
her fur (she's a cat!)

Otherwise she's normal though, happy, playful, wresting the other cats,
being a general pain in my butt, trying to kill me when I go up the
stairs, eating, making regular litterbox visits, all that.

Weird.

Just thought I'd share :)

In my old apartment, the old, unrepairable sink dripped, and Hodge would
happily jump in it and sit there in the wet sink with water dripping
right on his head. And he would resist being picked up and moved to a
drier area. I think they like to do it to see the stupid expression on
our faces. ;)

Now this is really funny! What a character!

Could be!

They like to cuddle up in a small space and a sink is just the right size.
I got each of my cats beds the size of a bathroom sink and two of them love
the beds and curl up in them every day when I'm on the computer.  They are
on top of a shelf level with the window sill, (cat heaven!)

Of course I don't look busy,
I did it right the first time.

They always have boxes, and a cathouse (that they actually use,
amazingly enough), and a really cozy place on the counter between the
water cooler and the window...

Just seems odd that a wet sink would be an acceptable place, it's not
like they're lacking dry places that they love sleeping.

I'm also a little concerned, that sink has a garburater.  It's not
controlled by a switch, but rather, a magnet in the sink.  I'm not
worried about it right now, since the trigger is broken (and the trigger
magnet is in the cupboard not the sink), but this could be a *very* bad
habit in the future.
