I have a very handsome boy, Aragorn. You can see him at
http://www.jwpitt.com/aragorn_pics.htm I bought one for my niece since my
brother is very allergic. Their cat follows my brother around and likes to
sleep on him. My brother hasn't had any problem. I got them both from
Kravchenco Siberians http://www.siberiancats.com/
She obtained her breeding stock from Russia herself. She started a group
called Prestige Siberians. They all spay/neuter before placement. Prestige
breeders all charge $650 for males and $675 for female pet kittens.
Considering they are already altered it is a good deal. They have sweet
little voices and get along with other animals. I do cat rescue and have
'house guests' most of the time.

I have two friends, a couple, who are both very allergic to most cats.
After doing their research, they visited several breeders of both
Devon Rexes and Siberians. They showed very little allergic reaction
to both breeds, and decided to get two Siberians. Thet got the first
kitten about three weeks ago, and he is _very_ sweet and affectionate.
They're waiting for a new litter so they can pick their second
kitten. The breeder with whom they're working charges $600 per
pet-quality kitten (IIRC). Show quality cats are more, but I don't
know the pricing.
If you'd like more information, please email me privately and I'll get
you the breeder's contact information.

Hello Everyone,
I am a breeder of Siberians. I am also the person that discovered the
hypo-allergenic qualities of the Siberians back in 1995. Myself and
my vet went on national TV to say so.
Please visit my web site at www.siberiancats.com. It is there that
you will find a wealth of information on the breed and me too :)
Who needs the genetically cloned hypo-allergenic cat when nature has
provided one?
Best to All,
Lynda Nelson

But the hypoallergenic cat is going to be cloned from what the cloning company
describes as the perfect cat--the British Shorthair!!! :-)
