I have a new rescue in my house that appears to have ringworm patch on
her head. I would guess her age at 10-12 weeks. Is there a topical
anti-fungal (human) that would be safe to apply?
I know that the vet has the proper treatment but we have 7
rescues in the house currently and maxed out the budget for this and
probably next month.

Lime sulpher dip is the most effective and cheapest option. But, you
really, really, need to isolate the cat for 6-8 weeks and do all of the
testing recommended to certify that the cat is free of ringworm or you're
setting your group up for a lawsuit. If you can't legally certify the cat
ringworm free, then you can't adopt them out. A Woods lamp won't do it
either.

Lotrimin - shave the affected area and apply it twice daily, but keep
the cat from licking it if possible. Program works well for ringworm
- just Google it to get details.
