hi
I currently have 3 cats, 1 elder cat and 2 kittens, right now they are on
authority and I have to buy some more tomorrow and i was wondering if it was
one of the better foods.  I work at a large chain pet store and would like
to stick with the brands they sell which you may know are, Authroity, Nutro,
Science diet, Iams, Pro plan and i think that's it for the premium foods,
there may be more but i don't work in the cat area so i'm not sure.  I have
heard fromt he people who work in that area that Nutro is good, but they
don't always seem know what they are doing since there are a few fairly new
ones.  Any insight would bet great.
Thanks

Heh, I already know what chain you work at (I work there too as well as a
vet receptionist). Authority gave it away ;).

Authority is their store brand by the way so you will only find it there.
Not sure how it stacks up to the major brand premium brands but I'd
prefer it over Cat Chow or Friskies.

The root cause of problems is simple overpopulation.  People just aren't
worth very much any more, and they know it.  Makes 'em testy. ...Bev

I've used both Nutro and Authority for the kittens I'm fostering, and they
seem to prosper equally well on both brands.

As others have pointed out, Authority is a store brand only available at one
chain while you can get Authority at most any place that sells premium cat
food.
