Anyone know anything about kittens and wool blankets...aside from the
"wool sucking" thing? our kittens (or one of them ) seems to have
taken to peeing on our leather couch. only we don't think it's the
couch it seems to be the wool blanket covering the couch. They don't
seem to be doing anything anywhere else in the house, and never seem
interested in the couch itself in any other way......any ideas? This
could be a problem in our house, and we'd love to hear
experiences/solutions. Taking away the blankets is obvious enough,
just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. one more thing,
the urine doesn't smell bad really....it's not like they are
"spraying".

Thanks

Val

I had a flokati rug many years ago. It was 100% wool. Cats peed
on it like it was a litter box. Finally got rid of it.

I wonder if they can smell the sheep and so are marking?

I don't know - I also used to have a 100% wool flokati rug in the LR  - for
about 15 years, but no peeing/marking incidents on it.  My first cat did
love that rug, though, when I first got it: she'd hunker down & act like she
was stalking pretend prey through it.
