My 15 year old cat stopped eating about six months ago. The vet could
find nothing wrong so I started trying different foods. The only thing
he seems to like is shrimp, a few whisker lickin's treats and a few
bites of dry food. He will eat as much shrimp as I will give him, it
seems. The shrimp are not raw, but not cooked for very long, really
just heated up in water. I'm afraid this much shrimp is not good for
him even though he does get a few bites of other food. I told the vet
I fed him mostly shrimp and she didn't seem concerned. Any thoughts
would be appreciated. Thanks, James

I'd worry about him getting all the nutrients he needs. Can you get a
cat vitamin and give him that along with his shrimp?

I read somewhere that shrimp were high in magnesium which might cause
a problem in some cats. Maybe someone else has more info about this.
