Are these any good??? I did a search in the newsgroups and was
astounded that I didn't get any hits.
Other recommendations for low-priced, high-quality trees would be
appreciated. How about cat walks (www.katwallks.com)? Anybody have
those and would like to share your thoughts?
Thanks!

I have not heard of them. I have Green Duck and North American Pet cat trees
that are pretty good.

Thanks for your reply, Karen! It probably would have been helpful if
I had included a link to Armarkat: www.armarkat.com
I looked up Green Duck (haven't looked up North American Pet, though.)
They look nice, but the Armarkats are a bit less expensive. However,
I don't want to buy something cheap if it is not stable.

To me, they look a little top heavy. Cats really like to charge up cat
trees. I think you would have to secure them a bit.

Greetings...
I have a KatWallk, and my kitty loves it. I only have the one installed
over the fridge when Alacrity used to have to jump from one cabinet,
over the fridge to the top of the pantry. Al will lay on in, give it a
good scratching, run at top speed over it... It's held up very well.
I'd recommend them.

May I just say that Alacrity is an excellent cat name!

You'll find some really nice cat trees here:

How about cat walks (www.katwallks.com)?
What a great idea! They're even better than my high-level walkways.

You can also use bookshelf kits to construct high-level walkways in
apartments where you can't damage the walls.

I saw them all over Ebay. I ended up going with one from Cat Condo
Heaven (also on Ebay.) It was the same price and seems much sturdier
than the pictures of Aramark. I don't trust those round tubes that hang
down from ledges -- they don't seem secure, being cardboard cement
tubing. I'd rather have wood!

My favorite location for cat trees is www.createacatcondo.com. They cost
more than Armarkat, but they are very sturdy and well-built, and they can be
configured to your specifications. In addition, the price includes
shipping. They come fully assembled.

I bought my cat tree at catsplay.com. Little expensive, but I did a lot of
research and found these to be good looking, sturdy and they can be
configured the way you want. My cat loves his!

I just bought a cat tree from armarkat and i love it and so do my cats.I
have no problems with it and i personally think that it is well made.I too
was skeptical before receiving it,with it being so cheap and all,but i am
very pleasantly surprised.I would recommend it to anyone. My one cat does
the running and jump on it,which used to knock over my old one,but hasn't
happened with this one at all, seems very sturdy.
