On another note, though she eats only a bit less than 1/4 cup 2x
per day (wellness dry, with a little SD sensitive skin for the e's
and omega's for fall/winter) and she's always hungry, she is still
hanging in at 11 pounds. The vet snickers at her tummy next to her
tiny head and short legs but I can't see how I can cut it down any
more because she BEGS for food as it is. Vet says she'll only lose
weight by going on canned but has seen these stubborn cats who
won't eat it. She always begs for food now as it is; I can't see
cutting it down even more.

Well, you climb your mountains as they present themselves, I always say.
The only wet food Sugar will eat is AD, so I just give her a little bit each
meal. It's so high calorie, I don't want to give her more and she doesn't
want much. I just can't seem to do much about her liking dry food better
either. Still, her weight stays constant and while round in shape, she is
not overweight, so I guess that is all right.
