When Hodge is confronted with the laser pointer or (as I discovered today), soap bubbles (bubble toy), he opens his mouth wide and basically says, "Eh eh eh eh eh" in short bursts, a little like a duck quacking. I can't tell if he's upset or just excited. Any thoughts? Does your cat seem to enjoy chasing the laser? That would give you the real answer, I think. Holly adores the laser point -- she leaps into my lap the minute I reach for the drawer where I keep it.
