To Kitty, who was dead in the middle of the busy road this morning on my way
to work...

I hope you got out by accident and no one let you out knowing how close to a
major road they lived.
I hope someone loved you and will miss you and that you loved them and are
waiting at RB for them.
I hope you had an awesome life up until this morning.
I hope you went too quick to realize you were dying alone.
I hope people took the time to see you lying there and made the decision to
keep their cats indoors if they lived in the area and had let them out
before.

To you, little guy.

Poor baby. I see this several times a month on my way around town. It might
explain my strong feelings about letting them out inplaces where there are
cars about. (Which would be all places.) I feel for them, and I always
imagine how I would feel if it were one of mine.
