seems to work. Does anyone have a Litter Robot? If so how long have
you had it and any problems with it? Hopefully you have had it for
over 2 yrs.Is it woth the extra bucks than a LitterMaid? Can I use any
kind of clumping litter in it? Thank you for any help or info. Plz

Last I read, the Litter Robot is not good for anything more
than 2 cats.

You can get 2 mega LM's for one Robot.

I'd be concerned that these things would scare the crap out of my cat(s). :)
The last thing anyone needs is a cat with a litterbox phobia.

We've got the one's with the rounded top (Omega Paw?) that you flip over
manually and they separate the clumps from the litter. The top also prevents
accidents outside the box.

I could never find the big one of the Omega Paw type and the little
one was just not big enough. Plus, I kept having problems with the
litter clumping in the divider section.

Now that I think about it, with one cat having diarrhea, maybe it's
best that I not use that one.

That could be messy.

We've got one large one for the big kitty and a small one for the small
kitty. Of course the big kitty uses the small one and the small kitty uses
the big one. :)

I own and use the litter robot... it would accomidate about 3 cats...
I have 1 cat and he bearly fills the tray... its 3 times the size of the litter maid mega...

Cats love the enclosure because they like to hide... My cat has become protectant of his litter box and watches me everytime I empty it.

If you can afford the litter robot its the best thing out there... all the others will break, the question is when.

The Omega one has the worst life span... the litter robot averages about a year... (some longer and sorter... its an average according to the tech support) then both you'll need to change or replace something...

The ONLY think bad about the litter robot is that if your cat is very fat... like... oh I dunno like when he walks he wobbles or hes on the very fat side on the chart at the vet.. he may not fit...

but there is a 30 day send it back, try it out period with each one... and there is an 18 month warrenty...

I owned mine for about a year... And I can honestly say that I can't imagine how it will break.. besides the dust on it from my filling (cat keeps attacking me) the think still looks AND WORKS like the day I opened it... I never had to take anyhting apart to clean it... just take the wall mart bag of poop out and put in a new one once a week (Its barely 1/2 full but its garbage day) and fill the litter once a month...

No jams... no hassle... no checking to see if its stuck... no expensive waist containers...
Just worry and hassle free operation since day 1.

I waited a year before telling anyone about it... I wanted to make sure it would last... unlike the moving rake designs on the others...
