Where are you? We can disagree about things--even passionately. Even Phil.
;) But that doesn't mean you have to clam up. I miss hearing about your
cats, and want to know how things are going with the new "children."

Please come back an give us an update.

I'm right here -- just ask Patricia Butler!

LOL! But who is Patricia Butler?

She was someone involved  in a flame war with Laura in rec.pets.cat a
few months ago. As usual, I couldn't resist jumping in the middle of it,
an Ms. Butler was absolutely convinced I was Laura's sock puppet. It was
a running joke on this newsgroup for some time.

I recall the joke but not Patricia Butler.

True.

Well,  not sure about this particular bit. <g>

Yes, plus whenever someone new comes in w/ questions about chemotherapy for
cats diagnosed w/cancer, esp. lymphoma, Laura's experience w/ Alex can very
very helpful & informative.

Maybe she's just working a lot or out of town.  I remember her being gone for
long periods in the past and then coming back.  Was there some sort of
altercation that I missed?  I thought I saw a post from her 2-3 weeks ago.

Yes, this does seem to happen; I think she proabably travels, re: her job.

She last posted maybe... a month ago? (that's a guess), last I remember.
Yes, short - but sharp - altercation, re: Phil Pass.  She said she was
leaving the ng because of it, & I haven't 'seen' her since...

Oh, I guess I missed that.  I hope she comes back because I'd like to know how
her 5 kitties are doing.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for the "miso-phallic-ist" psycho stalker to tell me
all about how "terrible" I am in real life.  The psycho made a psychotic
accusation she can't back up then she ran and slithered back under her rock.

Actually, I'm kinda hoping she'll f*ck with me outside of Usenet; I would
really enjoy putting her in a cell (unpadded) where she belongs.
