She is about 10 months old-very nice and smart-but she scratches-she always
jumps up on Dini...

Try Soft Paws.  You can read about them on the computer.  They really help.

Thanks - we will get soft paws and train the kitty-she only bothers my
daughter--and she is loving and kind and we are all vegetarians..

I bet you will not have to continue them long. Is your daughter very young?
When I was little our one cat would "bite" me, not enough to break the skin,
but to dent me. It didn't even hurt. It was when I would try to move her
away from something like the door. She would not do it to anyone else. She
knew I was young with no authority. She became my best friend until I went
to college and made me go to bed every night by dragging a sock out and
meowing until I went to bed (this lasted well into my teens). I became "her
kitten" even as a teen ager. I bet as your daughter gets older they become
good friends.
