Has anyone ever known a cat as young as 8 months to have cancer?

I have heard of it, but it is pretty rare and possibly a result of another
illness like FeLV. Have you gotten a diagnosis?

Well, Mollie has this little tiny growth in the corner of her eye, on her
3rd eyelid I think, that the vet said would have to be removed and sent away
for analysis if it didn't clear up with the ointment she gave us, and it
hasn't.

She did say not to worry too much, but we do!

I"m sorry about Mollie. Maybe your vet is showing confidence because the
chances for it to be benign are very good. Please keep us posted! Purrs for a
complete recovery for Mollie.

Oh that could be just a cyst easily. I would not worry about cancer at this
point, especially if you are having it tested. It would not be my first
thought in a case like this.
