Everyone here was so kind when I posted two weeks ago--"Relocating
with an Old Cat."  Well, to make the story short, I couldn't go
through with it.  I couldn't put a cat so old through the pain of
moving from the mountains into an efficiency.

I know I'm putting her before myself; I've been told that is
psychologically very unhealthy.  But the uncontrollable bouts of
crying that overtook me in the week and a half I prepared for the move
weren't healthy either.

I'll probably end up a baglady for the sake of a geriatric feline!
Oh, well--I suppose *someone* has to be a baglady...  Please just keep
your fingers crossed I'll become self-supporting where I live; I need
all the purrs I can get.
