I love these things. They have catnip and some have crackly stuff in them.

Our latest: Hillary Clinton and Arnold Schwarzenegger. :) (Petsmart was out
of George Bush, and Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich have been retired.
Bummer!)

Being a true Democrat, I got both so I could see which way my cats leaned by
who they attacked/loved on more.

Arnie has two sides, one the Gov. and one the Terminator. Hillary has a
badge that says "I'm With Stupid" and another that says "It Takes A Village
to Do My Hair."

I have a feeling these toys are more for humans than cats. Nevertheless, I
am happy to report that both have been generously bitten, licked, and
slobbered on. ;)

Oh, man, I was trying to word that post so
that I didn't enflame anyone. But ... I LOVE Bill Clinton and his vision for
the world. Not the one where there's a bimbo with kneepads for every
man--the other ones! (I'm JOKING, people!)

I don't think anyone could successfull argue that President
Clinton is stupid about anything but when to keep his trousers zipped. (For
the economy we had when he was in, I'd be willing to have him back even if
he spent every damn day nayked in the oval office!) I am on page 863 of his
book, and if you have not read it, I hope you will. It makes those of us who
love him love him even more, and those of us who hate him ... well, do they
even read it?

oh *that*. Now I get it!  I suppose he has such charm and charisma
that people tend to overlook it and  forgive him,  though his lying
was hard to swallow (no pun intended<G>)
I have to say I thought the world was safe in his hands. Sorry if I've
offended any Bush supporters. Feel free to insult our Prime Minister,
Tony Blair . Talking about lying , he is also known  as Liar  Bliar,
Phoney Tony and Teflon Tony, amongst other names!.

I've not read his book yet, nor Hillary's but that's on my to do
list-:)

You go, girl! I've read Hillary's book and am now well into Bill's.
Love them both and still wish they were in office.
My daughter sent me a Rumsfeld Voodoo doll. (Not for cats--for humans)
it even comes complete with pins. I must run to Petsmart for their
discerning toys for my intelligent, Democratic cats.

I do too. You know, the night they voted to impeach this wonderful man, I
had just sat down to eat a dinner that had taken me most of the afternoon to
prepare. As I watched the morons crucify him for his personal life, I got a
lump in my throat and never did taste that dinner. I wonder how his
detractors like life in Bushland now? Enough boys dead for them yet?

Terrible thing is, the Republicans are already starting in with the smear
campaign on Kerry. I hope we learn who is really behind that wingnut veteran
group that is apparently contesting his war medals. His war medals, for
God's sake. We get a great guy who didn't serve and they call him a coward.
We get a great guy who is a genuine war hero and they have to plant the seed
that it just cannot be true. Bastards. Let's hope most people will see
through this. Again.

I haven't read Hillary's book I'll have to pick that up when I'm finished
with Bill's.

Oo! Oo! I want a Rumsfeld doll! Better, even--AN ASHCROFT DOLL! Pure,
unadulterated evil that man is.

I'm hoping a Bill toy shows up on ebay, I'd snatch it right up. Might not
even let the cats play with it. <G> If you find a Bush one, let me know. I
think I would enjoy watching Cheeks kick the snot out of it just like the US
voters are going to kick the snot out of him come the next election day!

Aside form personal decisions, Bill C. used the brains he was given; aas far
as running the country & making wisie decisions, I trusted him.  And well,
Hillary may well run (for President) eventually...

I read Hillary's, but haven't read Bill's - at least not yet.  I didn't
realize how very extensively Hillary traveled during his presidency beofre I
read her book.  Both very bright people.

There's a Bush sort of inflatable schmoo toy - you bop it on the nose sport
of thing. http://www.bopbush.com/

just like the US

I'm hoping, but apparently it rides on the 17% - or whatever the present
%-age is - of the so far undecided voters.  The thought of yet another 4
years of GWB - arghhhhhhhhh.

I'm glad there are so many like-minded (with me) people here.  I love Clinton.
The man is a Rhodes Scholar, he's brilliant.  Bush had a C- average in college,
I believe.  All he did in college was cheerlead, drink beer, and possibly snort
coke.  Bill was following his ideals even back then.

Preach it, sister!  I miss Bill Clinton so much.  Shrub makes me nervous
when he talks.  I keep waiting for him to f*ck it up.  There was no fear
Bill would put a foot wrong when he was talking.  I lost so much respect
for the members of Congress during those impeachment hearings.  What a
load of hypocritical jerks!

And now the Bush machine is trying to do to Kerry what they did to Max
Cleland -- a Senator from Georgia who lost both legs and an arm in
Vietnam and whom the Bush machine portrayed as unpatriotic in order to
get a Republican into his seat.  Nasty viscious dirty poisonous snakes,
they are.

GWB makes me nervous, period.  On virtually every front.

I was listening to NPR one afternoon when B. Clinton's book came out & he
was doing bookstore signings; NPR (which program?? TOTN, maybe?) was
interviewing him.  It was so refreshing to once again hear someone who is
articulate, who has an excellent command of the language!

Yeah, makes one wish they didn't have that nasty little term limitations thing.

I watched him on 60 Minutes and almost wept.  Remember when one could be
proud of one's president public persona?

And he looks fabulous. Leaner than usual, a little tan. I love the way
he feels freer to speak out now that he is not president. I LOVED
his speech at the Democratic convention, especially the part where
he mentioned that Bush's economic policies only benefit the people
whose income is in the top 10%; that he had just recently joined that
group; and that while he thanked President Bush for all the money
he saved him he still did not think it was fair to the people who did
not earn so much money! GO BILL!

His speech was excellent.  I also enjoyed Jimmy Carter's (another *very*
intelligent person) & the way he managed to state his views re: G.W.Bush's
policies/doings w/ no hint of a doubt was to what he (Carter) was saying,
yet in an ever-so-low key manner.

I am so sorry I missed Jimmy Carter's speech. He is such a sweet man,
along with everything else he is.

Now if only the Green Party doesn't f.ck it up again, Kerry might
actually win by a large enough margin that Shrub can't steal the
election again.

I don't know about that. Huge GOP contributors make those new voting

You just missed the GWB toy.  It's the one shaped like a pile of dog
sh.t, and on the other side, it says "I'm a fundie dumbass."

Nice backpedal. If you had ever demonstrated even
a half-assed sense of humor, someone might buy it.
